Tax Reform

Over the past four years I worked with Governor Walker and my colleagues to cut taxes by over $2 billion. Despite great progress by Gov. Walker and the GOP legislature, Wisconsin remains one of the highest taxed states in the country. We are on the right track, but there is still work to be done. That is why I will continue to fight to get spending under control, so we can continue to reduce your property and income tax burden. The bottom line is that no one knows how to spend your money better than you do.

  • Voted to cut property taxes by $500 million overall, saving the average homeowner $680 over the next four years
  • Voted to cut income taxes by $750 million for all Wisconsin workers
  • Voted to increase penalties on fraudulent use of taxpayer money
